Importance of Attitude

Attitude is known as the foundation of Success! A person with a positive attitude is always having a better living than others who don't have it. If your attitude is negative, your life is restricted. But not having the negative attitude does not make a person positive. Some of the factors that built the attitude in you are the environment, experience, education etc. Obviously, all of us are not having these factors in the same kind and amount. You should be lucky enough to have a positive attitude by nature. So how can a person who don't have a positive attitude, get into the success path of the life? Can he ever get a positive attitude?

Yes! A good attitude can be gained by practice. A person who evaluate the situation and how he had responded to that situation understands his attitude towards it. Find out your attitude and correct it if necessary.

The Power of The Dream by Celine Dion

Céline Marie Claudette Dion born March 30, 1968, is a Canadian singer, occasional songwriter, actress, and entrepreneur. Born to a large, impoverished family in Charlemagne, Quebec, Dion emerged as a teen star in the French-speaking world after her manager and future husband René Angélil mortgaged his home to finance her first record. In 1990, she released the anglophone album Unison, establishing herself as a viable pop artist in North America and other English-speaking areas of the world.
here I am submitting a work of Celine Dion "The Power of the DREAM"

Deep within each heart
There lies a magic spark
That lights the fire of our imagination
And since the dawn of man
The strength of just "I can"
Has brought together people of all nations

There's nothing ordinary
In the living of each day
There's a special part
Every one of us will play

Feel the flame forever burn
Teaching lessons we must learn
To bring us closer to the power of the dream
As the world gives us its best
To stand apart from all the rest
It is the power of the dream that brings us here

Your mind will take you far
The rest is just pure heart
You'll find your fate is all your own creation
Every boy and girl
As they come into this world
They bring the gift of hope and inspiration

Feel the flame forever burn
Teaching lessons we must learn
To bring us closer to the power of the dream
The world unites in hope and peace
We pray that it will always be
It is the power of the dream that brings us here

There's so much strength in all of us
Every woman child and man
It's the moment that you think you can't
You'll discover that you can

Feel the flame forever burn
Teaching lessons we must learn
To bring us closer to the power of the dream
The world unites in hope and peace
We pray that it will always be
It is the power of the dream that brings us here

Feel the flame forever burn
Teaching lessons we must learn
To bring us closer to the power of the dream
The world unites in hope and peace
We pray that it will always be
It is the power of the dream that brings us here

The power of the dream
The faith in things unseen
The courage to embrace your fear
No matter where you are
To reach for your own star
To realize the power of the dream

16 Rules of Success by Bob Parsons

Bob Parsons is the CEO and Founder of The Go Daddy Group, Inc. Parsons joined the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War and received the Combat Action Ribbon, Vietnamese Cross of Gallantry and a Purple Heart Medal. Upon his return, Parsons enrolled in the University of Baltimore where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. He is a Certified Public Accountant.

1. Get and stay out of your comfort zone.

I believe that not much happens of any significance when we're in our comfort zone. I hear people say, "But I'm concerned about security." My response to that is simple: "Security is for cadavers."

2. Never give up.

Almost nothing works the first time it's attempted. Just because what you're doing does not seem to be working, doesn't mean it won't work. It just means that it might not work the way you're doing it. If it was easy, everyone would be doing it, and you wouldn't have an opportunity.

3. When you're ready to quit, you're closer than you think.

There's an old Chinese saying that I just love, and I believe it is so true. It goes like this: "The temptation to quit will be greatest just before you are about to succeed."

4. With regard to whatever worries you, not only accept the worst thing that could happen but make it a point to quantify what the worst thing could be.

Very seldom will the worst consequence be anywhere near as bad as a cloud of "undefined consequences." My father would tell me early on, when I was struggling and losing my shirt trying to get Parsons Technology going, "Well, Robert, if it doesn't work, they can't eat you."

5. Focus on what you want to have happened.

Remember that old saying, "As you think, so shall you be."

6. Take things a day at a time.

No matter how difficult your situation is, you can get through it if you don't look too far into the future, and focus on the present moment. You can get through anything one day at a time.

7. Always be moving forward.

Never stop investing. Never stop improving. Never stop doing something new. The moment you stop improving your organization, it starts to die. Make it your goal to be better each and every day, in some small way. Remember the Japanese concept of Kaizen. Small daily improvements eventually result in huge advantages.

8. Be quick to decide.

Remember what General George S. Patton said: "A good plan violently executed today is far and away better than a perfect plan tomorrow."

9. Measure everything of significance.

I swear this is true. Anything that is measured and watched, improves.

10. Anything that is not managed will deteriorate.

If you want to uncover problems you don't know about, take a few moments and look closely at the areas you haven't examined for a while. I guarantee you problems will be there.

11. Pay attention to your competitors, but pay more attention to what you're doing.

When you look at your competitors, remember that everything looks perfect at a distance. Even the planet Earth, if you get far enough into space, looks like a peaceful place.

12. Never let anybody push you around.

In our society, with our laws and even playing field, you have just as much right to what you're doing as anyone else, provided that what you're doing is legal.

13. Never expect life to be fair.

Life isn't fair. You make your own breaks. You'll be doing good if the only meaning fair has to you, is something that you pay when you get on a bus (i.e., fare).

14. Solve your own problems.

You'll find that by coming up with your own solutions, you'll develop a competitive edge. Masura Ibuka, the co-founder of SONY, said it best: "You never succeed in technology, business, or anything by following the others." There's also an old Asian saying that I remind myself of frequently. It goes like this: "A wise man keeps his own counsel."

15. Don't take yourself too seriously.

Lighten up. Often, at least half of what we accomplish is due to luck. None of us are in control as much as we like to think we are.

16. There's always a reason to smile.

Find it. After all, you're really lucky just to be alive. Life is short. More and more, I agree with my little brother. He always reminds me: "We're not here for a long time, we're here for a good time!"

Formula of Success!

What is the formula success?
Someone said 99% perspiration and 1% inspiration...
Many people in life are very hard working but still not successful in life...
Why? 'The lack of one percent Inspiration'.
Where do we get such inspiration? can't find it around you? Look inside dear! Find it inside yourself. Change your attitude to a positive one. Success is not an accident- it's a choice. You choose to be successful. Think yourself that you can win, you are born to win! See the 1% comes automatically in the view now. Many a lack the ability to think positively and fails in life even after their 99% of hard work. Be confident about yourself first. There might be many sources of negativeness around you which pull you down from your success. If you are not confident enough these negative thoughts will make you lose the game of life! be confident yourself and be positive!

Do you have 'Dreams' ?

Hello Folks,

Do you have DREAMS ?. To answer this question you should define what is a dream. Wiki says that "A dream is a succession of thoughts, images, sounds or emotions which the mind experiences during sleep". What do you think? Is this the dream I am talking about? No way. For me 'a dream' is something which never lets you sleep, not something that you see when you are asleep. Now give me your answer, do you have dreams? !!!

Why this blog

Hi everybody,

I am Anand Pai, a 25-year young guy from India. This is my first blog and the first post. So I want all the respectful readers to guide me through how to improve myself as a good blogger.

I had always wondered what is LIFE, why we are living beings, what is the purpose of our life? And I never come across a perfect answer to this question. Then I changed my thought a little bit! I started to believe myself that there is some purpose that I am living. And unless you succeed in your life, how can you find out what it is? If you want to know the result of any experiment, you have to complete it successfully. Life is an experiment which can be done only once. So it is very important that we succeed in life to know what it means really !!!

Now the next question arises is "What is SUCCESS?", How you define success? I found out that this is a 'Chain of Questions' that are going to follow one after another. So with this blog, i am going to find out the answers to these questions which haunts many people from time to time. All you readers are welcome for a healthy discussion on these topics. Thanking you in advance,

Anand Pai
